Just like parking, looking for places to eat around campus can be a struggle, so we’ve come up with a list of amazing restaurants near UNSW to get you ready and fed for the coming semester! The Kingsford area provides a great range for uni students on a budget.



1. Phoodle

1/255-271 Anzac Parade, Kingsford NSW 2032

An awesome place for them Viet craves, Phoodle has a variety of rice dishes, noodles, and tapas all for a very reasonable price. Get in my belly.



2. Ramen Manpuku

482 Anzac Parade, Kingsford 2032

A great reco for Ramen, Manpuku provides Japanese comfort food that will warm the soul of even the coldest of hearts. Plus, uni students can get extra noodles for free – just make sure you show your ID when you go to the cashier.



3. O’le

142 Anzac Parade, Kensington NSW 2033

O’le is the local chip shop of UNSW. Specialising in Portuguese chicken and burgers, their food is sure to make your mouth water. According to one student, their chicken burger is “bomb af”.



4. Sushi Tengoku

B/262 Anzac Parade, Kensington NSW 2033

Need a little sushi fix? Tengoku is perfect for when you are already late to class and need a lunch to get you through the day.



5. Indo Rasa 

1/309 Anzac Parade, Kingsford NSW 2032

Leave in a little extra room for your stomach! This resto is centred around Indonesian cuisine with curries, seafood, and yummy juices. ‘Nasi Campur Indo Rasa’ is an awesome dish for those feed needs.
